This magnificent hike is made on prepared and cleared winter hiking trails over open terrain and through forests. Highlight is the view at the old Friedenslinde on the Wittelsbacher Höhe near Schweineberg.

From the golf course in Muderbolz, follow the path up to Wielenberg. Continue straight along the path in the direction of Westerhofen, until the path leads right to Schweineberg and the Wittelsbacher Höhe. Depending on the snow conditions, the short section through the snow is worth going from the north side to the top of the Wittelsbacher Höhe with the old tree - this short section has not been cleared. We continue to Schweineberg, where you have the opportunity to buy cheese directly from the new store of the alpine dairy (please note opening times). The Bauerngasthof Café Mayr invites you to relax, here you can enjoy tasty regional dishes in a cozy atmosphere. The Restaurant Waldhaus in the golf course at Muderbolz is also worth a visit with a noble alpine ambience and very good service and excellent cuisine. Follow the road in Schweineberg to the west towards Wielenberg and Muderbolz. When exiting Schweineberg, you will find on the left  the small cleared path taking you downwards along the Sonnenalp Resort as to the road, where you take the path right back to the golf course in Muderbolz.

Anfahrt
