One of the most beautiful cycle paths in the western Allgaeu runs on the old railway line from Weiler to the train station in Roethenbach-Oberhaeuser. At first, the asphalted road always leads through woods and meadowland along the river Rothach. On a covered bridge, made of domestic silver fir, you cross the river the first time. With a little luck you can watch trouts from the bridge in the clear water of the Rothach. Shortly after, a second bridge is straddling the river. The cycle path now turns into the romantic valley of the creek Angerbach. With its vast marshland areas and the smoothly rippling Angerbach, the valley invites you to rest and look for a while. At the train station of Röthenbach there is a connection possibility to the cycle path to Lindenberg and Scheidegg.
