The starting point is the rest and hiking car park at the Gerichtsstein, directly on Lindauer Str. Coming from Röthenbach, turn left towards Schönau. The entrance to the trail is on the opposite side of the road, so be careful when crossing the road.
The easy circular trail leads in a wide arc across a field, past the sewage treatment plant in the direction of Schönau and back again in a northerly direction to the starting point.
